Anyone who grew up with computers in the eighties and nineties inevitably met countless melodies through computer games and demos. The typical 8-Bit-Beep-dee-doo of the Commodore 64 SID chip or the more sophisticated sounds of Amiga or Atari ST. Often these melodies were characterized by the fact that their authors got the maximum out of the minimal resources of the computers of that time and not infrequently these melodies could not be taken out of their heads.\nAll around these classic computer sounds today exists the so-called „retro-remix“ scene. The children and adolescents of those days have become adults and not infrequently they make music themselves today. So it makes sense to revive the earwigs of the youth. Connected via the Internet, the scene continues to thrive on web radios and on communities like Remix64.com and OC Remix, as well as on magazines like Return Magazine. And we too, the German Remix Group, are part of this scene.<\/p>\n

<\/a> Wer in den Achtziger und Neunziger Jahren mit dem Computer gro\u00df geworden ist, der traf zwangsl\u00e4ufig durch Computerspiele und Demos auf unz\u00e4hlige Melodien. Sei es das 8-Bit-typischen Gepiepe und Gedudel des Commodore 64 SID-Chips oder die etwas weiter entwickelten Kl\u00e4nge des Amigas oder Atari ST. Oftmals zeichneten sich diese Melodien dadurch aus, dass ihre Autoren das Maximale aus den minimalen Mitteln der damaligen Computer herausholten und nicht selten bekam man diese Melodien nicht mehr aus dem Kopf.
